Sometimes We Go Blind

Sometimes We Go Blind

In recognition of ๐—ช๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—น๐—ฑ ๐—ฆ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜ ๐——๐—ฎ๐˜†, I would first like to give thanks that I can see because I was born in a country that has the NHS and as such, I have received corrective lenses, sometimes free, from a very early age. Yet, even in this day and age many countries around the world still do not have the ability to provide access to basic health care like free sight testing for young people.

Self-Belief

Corrective lenses have given me the ability to see very clearly but there have been times even when wearing my glass or contact lenses I have not taken the time to really see the things around me both visually and reflectively.

Believe In You Now

So, as a reminder I created my pieces "Message in your mud" which is an interpretative work of art challenging myself to see the messages in the mud because as with a lotus flower, first, it has to grow out of the mud for its beauty to be seen, similarly as with our lives sometimes we have to grow through some murky, muddy situations, however, within those situations are messages of growth and becoming.

You will also note that the word "๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜†" is within the art and has the letter (i) missing because sometimes we go blind and don't realise that for us to see the message in our mud we have to look to the (I) of self to see the vision.

The Visionary

Hopefully, sometime today you will be still, connect to yourself and notice that you are the (i) in your vis(i)on and already have the insight to...
