Journey To The Ring

An evolving series by Amja Unabashedly™

Five works from Journey to the Ring, an evolving series of ten original paintings, are presented in connection with the Fight Back Promotions launch in support of Fight Forward CIC.

Developed independently by artist Amja, the series draws on her own experience of stepping into the boxing ring. It explores courage, identity, belonging, and the collective relationships that sustain our becoming.

The Series 

Every fighter steps through the ropes alone, and no fighter gets there alone. Behind each one stands a corner: the people who train, steady, and believe. These paintings hold both truths at once. One is the private decision to step forward. The other is the shared structure that makes stepping forward possible.


Seen in Person 

The works are shown only in person. They will not be published online while the series is still being made, so those at the launch are among the first to stand in front of them. The full series of ten will be unveiled at its own launch once complete.
