OPENING HOOK
There are moments when the most courageous thing a person or an organisation can do is stop performing stability and allow themselves to land. The Fall was the first piece created in the Seasons of Resilience collection, born from a time when falling was not a failure but the only available form of resilience — and the beginning of everything that came after.
ABOUT THIS PIECE
A figurative work in autumnal earth tones, warm ochres, burnt sienna, and the deep brown of turning leaves. The Fall depicts a woman in the quiet moment of release. She does not resist the ground. She meets it. The piece reframes falling not as collapse but as an intentional return, the kind of grounding that creates the conditions for standing again, in your own time, in your own season. Created in acrylic on canvas with chalk, the layered texture of the work mirrors the layered nature of letting go.
FRAMEWORK OR COMPANION CONNECTION
The Fall is the founding piece of the Seasons of Resilience collection, a body of work exploring the relationship between nature's cycles and the cycles of human experience. Autumn is its anchor: the season that teaches us that release is not an ending but a preparation. As the original from which the limited edition print was drawn, this work holds the full authorship of that inquiry. The first mark, fall, and first return.

IN YOUR SPACE
The Fall holds its quiet authority in personal spaces navigating transition, rest, or the permission to pause, and in leadership and organisational environments where the cost of never stopping is beginning to show. It does not ask you to hurry back. It asks what becomes possible when you don't. As an original work, it arrives with a presence that no reproduction fully carries the texture, scale, or the weight of what was made here.

Artist Info:
"My art is about courage, freedom and self-love. I use a multi-disciplinary approach to creating, which involves using vibrant colours, shimmering metallics, layered mediums and texturised surfaces.
In addition, my performance artistry of poetry, vocals and public speaking are also an integral part of the creating process.
The art celebrates strength, vulnerability, reclaiming, joy boundlessness and becoming, resulting in timeless dynamic pieces that tell stories, inspire self-discovery, inner-peace and ultimately beautifies spaces."
