A Heart To Hold

A Heart to Hold was born in a group therapy session at Women’s Trust, where a facilitator would open every meeting with the same words: remember yourself, love. Remember yourself, compassion. For a long time, those words lived in the mind but not in the body; then one day, sitting in the group, something shifted, and this limited edition print holds that moment of return. The piece carries a quiet, grounding truth: that holding yourself is not weakness, not retreat, but the most foundational act there is, and that you, as you hold others, also have a heart worth holding.

ABOUT THIS PRINT

A figurative and symbolic work within the SSCS™ Visual Pillars collection, this print sits at the Self-Love pillar, making visible the quiet internal work that shapes how we lead, relate, and move through the world, yet rarely appears in any formal record of it. Produced as an archival giclée on 300gsm acid-free heavyweight fine art paper, in a strictly limited edition of fifty, signed on the front by the artist, and permanently closed once sold.

SSCS CONNECTION

This print is the Self-Love pillar of the SSCS™ (Self-Soothing Creative Steps™), a framework for grounded self-connection and internal alignment that bridges art, identity, and lived experience.

Self-love is the precursor to your greatest love.
